The Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC) is a veritable architectural gem that has not only withstood the test of time but has evolved into one of the most awesome conference venues in Europe.
Built in the 16th century by the Knights of St John as the ‘Sacra Infermeria’ hospital, it majestically overlooks the entrance to Malta’s spectacular Grand Harbour. The spacious edifice, covering 7000 square metres of floor area, has been tastefully converted into a modern and stylish conference and events centre.
Multiple halls can cater for small meetings to conferences of 1400 delegates in the main Republic Hall and theatre. The La Valette Hall seats 950 in comfort for banquets and themed incentive dinners, while another 155 metre long hall is ideal for exhibitions of up to 100 stands.
From caring for the 16th century sick and invalid, to tending to the modern day conference delegate’s requirements, the MCC is living proof that in Malta, quality transcends time.
